Strong sisterly bonds unite Zena and Zulfa. Though smiling and seemingly carefree, they are sadly also bonded by family poverty. 17yr old Zena has already dropped out of school after primary level since her family couldn't afford the fees for secondary school, and 12 yr old Zulfa expects this to be her fate also. She shrugs it off, but, her mother, Fatima, voices her concern. She knows the struggle it is for anyone to succeed without education and says that albinos have no chance. As an albino herself, in a society that discriminates against her, Fatima does what she can to change that by advocating with the action group 'Voices of disabled women in Tanzania'.
